Leather is in its characteristic special and unique. A whole life with all it marks, wrinkles and traces is eternalized in one individual hide and there is no other material with such an authentic grown structure. -portrait of life- stands for this and purposes to give this special material a respectful meaning by using it in its most pure and sustainable way. The full grain leather we use shows all its character without any synthetic covering and is sensitively finished with oils and waxes to keep the beautiful and unique “skin” alive. Because of this plain and pure surface the leather beautifully shows its age with regular use and will become more and more one-of-a-kind. It will develop a unique patina by getting in touch with hands, sun and everyday life.
